The arrival of Rosselli – AX Privilege’s very first guests, Eamon and Thyra Staunton, marked the start of a new chapter in the hotel’s story. This was a long-awaited moment for the Rosselli – AX Privilege team, who prepared a luxuriously warm welcome for their guests.
“What a surprise! We, Eamon and Thyra Staunton are the first guests in this fabulous hotel! We were given a wonderful welcome from the ‘family’ and staff and we’re really looking forward these few days. It will be very memorable. Thank you to everyone for making it so welcoming!” said Mrs Staunton.
Mr and Mrs Staunton arrived in Valletta from the UK on the 23rd of May, 2019. To their utmost delight, they were greeted with champagne and canapés in order to celebrate this latest chapter for AX Hotels. Rosselli is the newest hotel in the group, and the first 5-star luxury boutique hotel to be opened in Valletta.
“Meeting our first guests was an important milestone for AX Hotels, especially since Rosselli has been designed around the human element. Our goal is to re-introduce the warmth and luxury of human connection to the hospitality industry, making our guests experience the privilege that they deserve,” said Mrs Claire Zammit Xuereb, Director of Hospitality and Care.
“The Rosselli team were proud to see that the personal approach to hospitality was well-received by our first guests and look forward to welcoming all future guests to Rosselli,” said Mrs Zammit Xuereb.
After meeting the AX Hotels and Rosselli staff, the couple made their way to their Designer Room, and were well taken care of throughout their stay.
