A Presidential Visit

MALTA’S PRESIDENT IS SHOWN ROUND ROSSELLI – AX PRIVILEGE AND HOSTED FOR DINNER AT GRAIN

Just a few months after its opening, His Excellency Dr George Vella, President of Malta, was welcomed to the first 5-star luxury hotel in the island’s capital city, Valletta. The evening began with a tour of Rosselli – AX Privilege and ended with dinner at Grain restaurant, the innovative dining space that forms part of the hotel.

“We are so pleased that His Excellency, Dr George Vella, has honoured us with his presence tonight. When the idea to create Valletta’s first 5-star luxury hotel was born, we envisioned that the boutique hotel would attract noble visitors from near and far, so tonight our dreams have materialised,” said Ms Zammit Xuereb, AX Director of Hospitality and Care.

Upon His Excellency’s arrival, Ms Zammit Xuereb was honoured to lead the tour around the 5-star boutique hotel. The President expressed his awe at the renovation works carried out by AX Construction on the 17th Century Palazzo, which is now home to Rosselli – AX Privilege. He was shown around the Designer Suites – all of which form part of the AX Designer Collection – as well as the meticulously designed common areas that exude luxury.

Following the tour, the President was hosted for dinner at Grain restaurant, which is located within the hotel but is also accessible from Merchants Street, Valletta. The newly-opened restaurant has introduced a new dining concept to Malta, which is based on a sharing menu. Together with the hotel, Grain has contributed to diversifying the tourism market in Malta, and elevating Valletta’s standards to a higher level of quality and luxury.

As the night came to an end, Ms Zammit Xuereb and the esteemed guests praised the work that has been done to create a distinguished product for Valletta, which welcomes all travellers seeking a luxury experience.
